What are the 3 words you would use to describe yourself?
God fearing; Driven; Meticulous
What is your biggest fear about the future?
My biggest fear about the future is certainly the fear of uncertainty and the fear of failure. I always say that when I stand before God at the end of my life, I would hope to have nothing left in me, not one bit of talent so that I could say to God that I used each and every single thing that He gave me. Hence not being able to fulfill this desire is one of my deepest fears.
What would be the title of your memoir and why?
I would title it : ‘The Beauty of Becoming’, because I strongly believe that we are on a constant pursuit of ‘Becoming’, and I think it’s such a beautiful thing because we get to learn and unlearn so many things about ourselves, and we get to script so many priceless and meaningful chapters in our book of ‘life’
What gets you out of bed every morning?
My goals and dreams. I have a vision board that I keep at the back of my bedroom door, it’s the first and last thing that I see everyday when I head to bed or get up in the morning. The vision board serves as a constant reminder of why I need to ‘keep going’ and keep working hard. The other thing that gets me out of bed is the fact that I believe that
there are people whose lives are tied to my dream and that there are so many other young girls out there who are depending on me to succeed so that they can see and realize that their dreams are truly valid.
What is your definition of success?
I define success as finding and fully living my purpose in life, and to leave an enduring legacy of having made a difference in the world. It’s also living my true purpose and having a positive impact on the lives of people by uplifting them and inspiring them in the various aspects of their lives.
One fun fact about you?
I can actually draw and paint.
