Meet Buhle Mbele.
Buhle is a dynamic, vivacious woman. She is passionate about women and empowering young people.
Buhle has managed to carve her way through a career in recruitment against all odds and is now heading up the Gauteng Regional Audit Graduate Recruitment Programmes for a Global Audit Firm.
She believes in changing the narrative of the young African girl.
Buhle is the co-founder of The Professionista together with Aurelia Nxumalo and has also collaborated with Wanawake Holdings. She spends her weekends mentoring young high school learners.

What are the 3 words you would use to describe yourself?
Positive, Vibrant, Hustler
What is your biggest fear about the future?
That we will be so focused on material possession and forget about mankind and the planet (Climate Change is REAL and it’s going nowhere).
What would be the title of your memoir and why?
Learning uBUHLE bakho by Buhle Mbele. Self discovery is such an important process in owning your true self and finding the power to stand in your own truth.
What gets you out of bed every morning?
You’d have to meet my son to understand why. He is one of my purpose drivers.
What is your definition of success?
This changes daily for me as I achieve the small goals that I have set for myself. Success is relative to where you are in your life and for me it’s being able to touch one’s life (one girl, woman at a time).
One fun fact about you?
I drive like a thug, seat low, good music… I’m a whole vibe lol
