Meet Noxolo Peter. Noxolo works as an Ethics and Conduct Risk Manager at one of the big four banks overseeing 14 of their international subsidiaries. When she’s not busy in the corporate world, Noxy also founded and runs a gourmet food company called Cheesy Steaks. She also founded a women’s empowerment organization called First Class on Your Becoming which in three years has now grown to 8 countries and they also have a branch in New York!

What are the 3 words you would use to describe yourself?

Breaker of Boundaries.

What is your biggest fear about the future?

Robotics! The thought of human intervention being totally wiped out by systems gives me mini heart palpitations. How does one fully prepare and evolve accordingly? This keeps me awake at night.

What would be the title of your memoir and why?

The girl who never made use of the word ‘Impossible’. Simply because that’s me, impossible does not exist in my vocabulary.

What gets you out of bed every morning?

My purpose. Which I have declared as ‘To Make Things Happen’. Purposefully so.

What is your definition of success?

Moving from point A to B. Whatever that means to you. Being able to move out of an undesirable place to a place where you want to be. That is success.

One fun fact about you?

Haha… well I was once a beauty pageant beast as a little girl. To a point where I made it to the Finale of the Pageants SA Mr & Ms Africa – Petite, and lost to the most gorgeous Indian girl I’ve ever met. This was 16 years ago!
