Get to Know Kim
What are 3 words you would use to describe yourself?
I have so many words! My top 3: confident, stubborn (just a little bit) and persistent (where my career is concerned).
What is your biggest fear about the future?
I’m a little bit of a control freak, I’ll admit. And therefore it is a little bit unsettling to not know what the future holds. One of my fears would probably be to disappoint myself by not living the life I had envisioned for myself; to not realize my full potential. That would be gravely disappointing.
What would be the title of your memoir and why?
I don’t have a title (as yet), however it would centre around the beauty of one’s unique story. Our journeys are different; and the sooner we all realize and embrace the beauty that lies in the uniqueness of our own stories, the more liberated we’ll become.
What gets you out of bed every morning?
The fact that I know I’m on this earth for a specific purpose encourages me to ‘get on with the program’. I see each day as an opportunity to show up, and give my best. And on bad days, I know that I have a bubbly 3 year old little girl, who makes all my troubles seem insignificant. Grateful to God for this gift, it’s unexplainable.
What is your definition of success?
For me, success means living out my purpose by utilizing my God-given talents to influence the world and those around me. Success to me also means having the ability to provide a great quality of life for my daughter.
One fun fact about you that most people don’t know
Mh. Probably that I used to do ballet and tap dancing. 🙂 I’m a pretty good dancer.
